With proper care, these high quality materials can be kept looking like new for years.
Cleaning and polishing: We recommend using Sunshine Polishing Cloths (available on our website soon). They contain a built in cleaner that easily wipes away tarnish and small surface scratches. Jewelry cleaning solutions are another option.
Storage: Be sure to store your pieces - especially sterling silver, in an airtight plastic bag or container when they are not being worn as exposure to humidity and oxygen will dull and tarnish the metal.
Tarnishing FAQ: There are many factors that can lead to tarnishing- swimming, humidity, makeup, sweating, lotion/sanitizer, even your body's pH and sweat. Sterling silver, especially will tarnish and should be regularly cleaned and stored properly to keep it looking shiny.
